IISME
This summer I worked at FUJIFILM Dimatix as a Software Analyst, as my 5th summer working for the IISME program (Industry Initiatives in Science and Mathematics Education). This company produces high speed, high precision material deposition hardware that is used mainly by large printing companies with very high print volumes for the media industry.
I was responsible for writing macros in VBA to migrate data sources from Excel to Access for several reports for their product line. It was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot about careers in Silicon Valley and what it's like to work in an R&D environment.

In previous summers, I've been a Sharepoint Developer at Synopsys, a Database Administrator at Lockheed Martin Space Systems, and as a Database Administrator at BAE Systems.
What did you get to do this summer?
